J.Crew really did a great job with these.

I've been pretty pumped to see these in person after all of the great pictures that have been posted, but I was honestly pretty blown after having them in my hands.

Top notch materials and execution, IMO. I highly recommend them to anyone on the fence.

I agree, GTFans video was all I need...

My shop just got the 1600s in. Called to see if I could reserve a pair and they didn't have my size... Oh well, looks like I'll keep my eyes on NB.com for when they release them.
Which one were you looking for?
Blue 1600s in an 8.

THNX Fuz! I really wish they would but like i was inquiring before with all these preorders, they always end up looking horrible when the actual pics come out which is so sad because i really want these as well as some other UK new releases like the tan 576s that were on preorder, but when i see the real pictures they look NOTHING like it!!!! so mad, sent back 2 pairs to end already cuz they came looking way dif. shape wise than what they are showing. Im not sure what pictures they keep showing or if these are old release pictures or what????? The new uk 1500s are the only ones Ive seen that actually have changed shape wise. Fucked up thing is along with the awesome fake pics they also even say NEW SHAPE!!!! ????

Yeah Dre, I know what you're talking about, because I was looking at those 576s too. The early sample pictures made them look really great, but the final product was no where close.

It went from this:

To this:

I'm noticing the same thing on some of these recent UK 1500s. The early pictures plastered all over the blogs look fantastic, so everyone pre-orders like you do, but the final product ends up looking as bad as they usually do.

damn, thats a shame. initial photo looks right on point with form. actual release is no bueno

Good looks, but that's even higher than the price Kith was asking. I'll probably hold out until there's a site with these for $130 retail. Fingers crossed for Zappos.

Honestly, I'd just keep checking at New Balance's website and Zappos. NB restocked the blue 1600s in a couple sizes today and Zappos is bound to have both colors at some point. I'll be getting the reds if they ever get them.

I don't understand the markups with these boutique shops. I know they're trying to make a piece too. Their margins must be terrible.

Anyone know what's up with ubiqlife? They have a full size run of the herschel 420s, not sure if it's a mistake or not.

Its funny. Growing up, I used to make fun of New Balance. Now I adore the designs. Funny how years change how you see things.
